Tania Mohammad is a Karachi-born denizen of the world who grew up in Canada, the US, and Saudi Arabia but now calls New York home and tells stories about it (“Undiscarded: Stories of New York”, “Act Two New York”). Her work on Undiscarded earned a Signal Award, an Anthem Award, and a Webby Nomination.
With over 15 years of experience in media production, content development, marketing, and event management, she has expertise in both the media and non-profit sectors. She is currently developing two history podcasts and is a freelance producer.
When not exploring the city's cultural gems & culinary delights, she enjoys Broadway shows and has a soft spot for drag, burlesque, and supernatural/sci-fi teen TV series. She resides in Queens, NY with her husband and is also a proud parent to a teenager, a tween, and also a cat mom to an enigmatic Siberian angel named Luka.
